ONE’s current Windows LAN software requires TLS 1.3 encryption in transit. Attended requests prove possession of a device key and require local approval; first-time devices remain unpaired. The operator checks the remote workstation’s certificate fingerprint. The person at the workstation can accept, reject, or limit access to viewing only. The operator can disconnect at any time.
